A Staffordshire soldier has been found not guilty of raping a woman twice but convicted of assault.
Nathan Chinn-Shaw, who is based at barracks in North Yorkshire, denied two charges of rape and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He was convicted at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Thursday.
No date has been set for sentencing of the 25-year-old, who is originally from north Staffordshire and now based at Catterick Garrison.
He was convicted after a four-day trial.
